Team Discraft

Brad Shick

Around The Tour: Apr 13th

The Easter holiday and tax season kept the events to all C-tiers this past weekend, including the KY State Championships, where Brad Schick made a final round surge to tie it up with Matthew Blakely after regulation, and the wiley veteran Schick was able to snatch the victory in a playoff. Ohio's Tyler Horne was 5th. Barrett White was a winner in Kenosha WI, where Chris Heeren took 2nd. Tim Gill was a 2nd place finisher in MN, and Adam Olsen 3rd in IA.

Patrick Blazek

New to the Team: Patrick Blazek

Good, smooth form is a key to success for Patrick Blazek of Las Vegas. He is another top pro who loves to drive with the Predator, get to the basket with a Buzzz, and finish the hole with a Challenger.

Nate Doss

Around The Tour: Apr 20th

Nate Doss

The current US Champion made his first tournament visit to the Glass Blown Open last weekend, and made it clear why he is the champ: a 12-under-par second round put him out of reasonable reach for most of the field, and Nate Doss cruised to a 2-throw victory. Miles Seaborn of TX was 6th, Adam Olsen 8th and Chris Smith 9th. Eric McCabe came off the IR list to finish 14th.

Liz Carr

Liz Carr found herself trailing early on, but a strong finish brought her the win at the Lexington Open. Sarsh DeMar was 4th, Larry Bledsoe 3rd in Masters, Matthew Blakely 5th in Open. Gregg Barsby held on for a playoff victory in Cali with Ray Johnson 4th. The up and coming Ziggy Bierekoven took the hardware in MI, working past Open competitors Mark Ellis (5th), Mike Henry (6th) and Kevin Tomassitis (9th).

Elsewhere Jon Drummond and Cale Leiviska tied in 2nd in MN with Timmy Gill 5th, Chris Heeren was 3rd in WI. Barrett White was 8th competing against the Open Masters in IL, and Larry Leonard returned to competition in NC by trouncing the Masters field. Kirk Yoo was 7th, Jeremy Koling 8th in Open.

New to the Team: Dion Arlyn

Dion Arlyn

Being a third degree karate black belt is impressive, but we were more impressed with Dion Arlyn's potential to defeat disc golf courses. He's from Corvallis, Oregon and is newest member of Team Discraft.
